Our Programs.
-

Summer Youth Program
We invest in between 40-50 Youth every summer through employment and academic mentorship.
Through mentorship our youth summer employees are able to thrive in their school programs (including sports, student government, and other extracurriculars)
We recognize that young people are the future of our communities, but too many face generational and trauma-filled barriers that can push them toward the streets instead of toward opportunity. That’s why we develop programming that keeps our youth and families engaged, supported, and on track toward a successful future.
-

Disparity Reduction.
We are a grassroots organization, of mothers and fathers, who are united in our efforts to address the “root causes” affecting African American families, our youth and people of color.
Our team seeks to address the causes, plaguing our community, including:
Violence/Violence with Guns
Racial Disparities
Food Security
Lack of/or Inadequate Housing
Lack of/or Inadequate Education Addiction
Mental Health and Trauma
-

Tutoring for Success.
A Mother’s Love Initiative believes all children are born with a clean slate. It is the responsibility of everyone in each child’s life to create a pathway that will lead to physical, social, intellectual and emotional growth. It is our GOAL to empower children and families, to ensure both academic and social success.
WE provide the tools necessary for our Scholars to learn together, grow together, and build great futures together.
Our team ensures that the children and families in our programs become leaders and life-long learners.
